Note from the Co-Presidents
As the new HVA co-Presidents, we look forward to the new year. Both of us are long time residents of Hunters Valley and we feel very fortunate to live in this very unique and close knit community. We believe that we have an excellent Board this year and look forward to working with the membership to build on the work of the previous Boards to improve communications, increase membership, clean-up and safeguard HVA property and devise a plan to look after neighbors during weather emergencies.

Halloween Party
The Halloween party was held on the Friday evening before Halloween this year resulting in many more children and parents attending and leaving Saturday night open for “trick or treating”. It was a mild evening with a huge bonfire for cooking hot dogs and marsh mellows. Hay rides provided by Carl Carter were a big hit with the kids. Everyone seemed to have a great time with many staying late into the night telling stories around the fire. Thanks to Carl Carter, Johnny Wilson and Tom Kins for setting everything up. In the future, the Halloween party will be held on the Saturday closest to Halloween unless the 31st is a Saturday. In that case, like this year, the party will be held the Friday night before.
